Gaza – In April 2023, SPARK launched a series of interactive activities to foster creativity, innovation, and sustainability among school students.
Under the tagline “MAKE | LEARN | DO”, SPARK provided school students with access to innovation labs, makerspaces, and hands-on workshops. These activities aimed to enhance students’ skills in 3D printing, coding, robotics, and digital arts, enabling them to think critically, solve problems, and create innovative solutions. The initiative focused on encouraging students to explore creative approaches and develop the technical skills needed for future academic and professional paths.
These activities are crucial for school students as they offer early exposure to digital and technical skills, providing them with a head start in a rapidly evolving job market. By engaging with modern tools and technologies, students build a foundation for freelancing and remote work opportunities, which are essential for Gaza’s youth. This early investment in skills development prepares students to become active contributors to their communities and strengthens their future career prospects.
Although these activities took place before the war on Gaza, SPARK remains committed to supporting Palestinian youth. By focusing on the younger generation, SPARK aims to equip students with the skills and mindset to face future challenges with resilience, creativity, and self-reliance. These efforts not only enhance educational outcomes but also contribute to building a stronger, more self-sufficient future for Gaza’s youth.
